Best Ad Networks for Indian Bloggers in 2026 (Beyond AdSense)

So AdSense rejected you. Or maybe your RPMs tanked. Or you’re just tired of waiting for that $100 threshold while making ₹2 per day.

Here’s the thing — AdSense isn’t the only way to make money from ads. It’s not even the best way anymore, especially if you’re an Indian blogger with traffic that doesn’t all come from the US or UK.

I’ve tested 12 different ad networks for Indian bloggers over the last three years. Some paid faster. Some paid better. Some approved blogs AdSense wouldn’t touch. And a few were complete wastes of server space.

This isn’t theory. These are the ad networks that actually work for Indian traffic in 2026 — the ones that approve faster, pay in rupees, and don’t need 50,000 monthly visitors to get started.

Why Most Indian Bloggers Struggle with AdSense

AdSense sounds great until you realize Indian traffic pays ₹10–₹30 per 1,000 pageviews while US traffic pays ₹200–₹500 for the same number.

That’s not AdSense being unfair. That’s advertiser budgets. Indian advertisers pay less per click, so your RPM (revenue per thousand impressions) stays low even when your traffic grows.

The bigger problem? AdSense rejects blogs for reasons they never fully explain. Thin content. Insufficient content. Policy violations that aren’t actually violations. I’ve seen food blogs with 80 original recipes get rejected while AI-written tech blogs get approved.

And then there’s the payment threshold. You need $100 to get paid. If you’re making ₹800 per month, that’s four months of waiting. Most bloggers quit before they hit their first payout.

How to Pick the Right Ad Network for Your Blog

Traffic matters, but not the way you think it does.

Some networks want 10,000 monthly visitors. Others approve you at 1,000. But the real question isn’t whether they’ll approve you — it’s whether you’ll make enough to justify the setup time.

Here’s what actually matters when you’re choosing ad networks for Indian bloggers:

Approval speed and requirements. Can you get in with your current traffic, or do you need to wait six months? Some networks approve in 24 hours. Others take two weeks and then ghost you.

CPM rates for Indian traffic. Don’t compare networks based on “up to $10 CPM” claims. Ask what they pay for traffic from India, because that’s where most of your visitors are. A network paying ₹50 CPM for Indian traffic beats one paying ₹200 CPM but only for US visitors if you don’t have US visitors.

Payment terms and thresholds. A network that pays ₹500 CPM but has a ₹5,000 minimum payout isn’t better than one that pays ₹150 CPM with a ₹1,000 threshold. You want money in your account, not theoretical earnings you can’t withdraw.

Ad formats that don’t kill your site speed. Heavy ad scripts slow your site, hurt your SEO, and annoy readers. If a network adds 4 seconds to your load time, you’ll lose more traffic than the ads are worth.

One more thing — avoid networks that make you sign exclusivity contracts. You want the freedom to test multiple networks and keep the ones that perform. Locking yourself into one network for a year is how you get stuck with bad rates.

Media.net — The Closest Thing to AdSense That Isn’t AdSense

Media.net runs on Yahoo and Bing’s ad inventory, which sounds less impressive than Google until you realize they often pay better CPMs for Indian traffic.

I switched one blog from AdSense to Media.net in late 2025. RPM went from ₹35 to ₹62 in the first month. That’s not guaranteed for everyone, but it’s not a fluke either — Media.net’s contextual ads perform well on content-heavy blogs.

Approval is stricter than most alternatives. They want at least 10,000 monthly visitors and original English content. No copied posts, no thin affiliate pages, no news aggregation. If your blog passes that bar, apply.

The downside? Payment threshold is $100, same as AdSense. They pay via Payoneer or wire transfer, which means fees if you’re withdrawing to an Indian bank account. Still, the higher RPMs usually make up for it.

Adsterra — High CPMs, Lower Traffic Requirements

Adsterra approves blogs with as little as 5,000 monthly visitors, sometimes less if your content is strong. They pay well for Indian traffic — I’ve seen CPMs between ₹80 and ₹150 depending on niche.

Their ad formats include display banners, pop-unders, and native ads. Pop-unders pay the most but annoy readers. I’d skip them unless you’re running a site where user experience isn’t your main concern.

Adsterra works best for blogs in tech, finance, and entertainment niches. If you’re in health or parenting, the CPMs drop. They pay weekly, minimum threshold is $100, but you can request payment at $5 via some methods if you’re just testing.

One warning — their ads can slow your site if you’re not careful with placement. Stick to two or three ad units max, and test your load speed after you add them.

Infolinks — In-Text Ads That Don’t Require High Traffic

Infolinks is one of the easiest networks to get into. No minimum traffic requirement. They approve most blogs as long as the content is original and you’re not violating obvious policies.

Their main ad format is in-text ads — those double-underlined words in your content that show ads when someone hovers over them. They also offer display banners and in-frame ads, but the in-text format is what they’re known for.

CPMs are lower than Media.net or Adsterra, usually between ₹20 and ₹50 for Indian traffic. But if you’re a new blogger who can’t get into other networks yet, Infolinks gets you monetized while you build traffic.

Payment threshold is $50 via PayPal, Payoneer, or bank transfer. They pay 45 days after the end of the month, which is slower than weekly-paying networks but still predictable.

The in-text ads don’t bother most readers, but some find them annoying. Test them for a month and check if your bounce rate increases. If it does, they’re not worth the money.

Ezoic — AI-Optimized Ads with a Catch

Ezoic uses machine learning to test different ad placements and formats, then shows the combinations that make the most money without tanking your user experience. In theory, that’s exactly what every blogger wants.

In practice, it works — but only if you have enough traffic for the AI to learn from. Ezoic approves blogs at 10,000 monthly visitors, but you won’t see great results until you’re closer to 30,000. Below that, the AI doesn’t have enough data to optimize effectively.

I added Ezoic to a tech blog with 25,000 monthly visitors in early 2025. RPMs jumped from ₹55 to ₹95 within six weeks. Page speed dropped slightly, but Ezoic’s caching tools helped recover most of it.

The setup is more complex than other networks. You’ll either change your nameservers or install their WordPress plugin, then wait a few days for them to test placements. If you’re not comfortable with DNS settings, this might feel overwhelming.

Payment threshold is $20 via PayPal, Payoneer, or direct deposit. They pay monthly, around 30 days after month-end. The low threshold makes it one of the faster networks to get your first payout from.

PropellerAds — Best for Entertainment and Viral Content Sites

PropellerAds approves almost anyone. No traffic minimums. No content quality checks beyond the basics. If your blog exists and isn’t illegal, you’re probably getting in.

That low bar means the CPMs vary wildly. I’ve seen Indian traffic earn anywhere from ₹30 to ₹120 depending on niche and season. Entertainment, gaming, and tech blogs perform best. Educational and health blogs perform worst.

PropellerAds offers push notifications, pop-unders, and interstitials in addition to standard display ads. The push notifications pay well — ₹200+ CPM in some cases — but they’re also the most intrusive format you can run. Use them only if you’re okay with some readers never coming back.

Minimum payout is $5 for some methods, $100 for others. They pay weekly if you’re over the threshold. That fast payment cycle is one of the main reasons bloggers stick with them despite the inconsistent RPMs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use multiple ad networks on the same blog?

Yes, but don’t place ads from two networks on the same page. Most networks allow you to run their ads alongside AdSense or other networks as long as the ads don’t compete for the same placements. Check each network’s terms before you stack them — some explicitly ban it.

Which ad network pays the highest CPM for Indian traffic in 2026?

Media.net and Ezoic typically pay the highest CPMs for Indian traffic, usually between ₹60 and ₹150 depending on niche and traffic quality. Adsterra comes close in finance and tech niches. PropellerAds pays well for entertainment content but inconsistently.

Do I need to leave AdSense if I join another ad network?

No. Most bloggers run AdSense alongside one or two other networks on different pages or placements. AdSense terms allow this as long as the other network’s ads don’t mimic Google’s ad style. Just don’t place competing ads next to each other on the same page.

What’s a realistic monthly income from ad networks with 10,000 pageviews?

With 10,000 pageviews of mostly Indian traffic, expect ₹500 to ₹1,500 per month depending on niche and network. Finance and tech blogs earn more. Lifestyle and food blogs earn less. If most of your traffic comes from the US or UK, multiply that by three to five.

Stop Waiting for AdSense Approval — Start Earning Now

You don’t need AdSense to monetize your blog. You don’t even need 50,000 visitors. You just need traffic, decent content, and an ad network that approves Indian bloggers without the runaround.

Most of the networks on this list approve blogs in 24 to 48 hours. Some pay weekly. A few let you withdraw earnings at ₹500 or less. That’s faster cash flow than AdSense offers, even if you do get approved.

At BloggerGuest, we’ve tested these networks on real blogs with real traffic. Media.net for content sites. Adsterra for higher CPMs. Infolinks for beginners who just need something running. Ezoic once you’ve crossed 20,000 monthly visitors.

Pick one. Apply today. Get approved. Start earning this month instead of waiting for AdSense to maybe respond in six weeks.
