My favourite season of year is Monsoon

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

I stay in Maharashtra a state in India. Monsoon here is very mesmerizing. In monsoon you can explore many tourist destinations like Hill stations, Mountains, Forests, Coastal area etc. as below

Places I love to visit in Monsoon season in Maharashtra

1 – Konkan

Konkan area in Monsoon is heaven you can see green forests and green hills as well as trees like Cashew tree, Mango trees, Jackfruit trees etc.

Konkan has beautiful coastal area too where you can experience blue seas with green forest backgrounds.

There are tons of popular tourist destinations in Konkan like Malvan, Tarkarli, Ratnagiri, Dapoli, Vengurla etc. These are gemstones of Maharashtra.

2 – Pune

There are plenty of tourist places to visit in Pune area. In pune there are thousands of Waterfalls available to visit till december. Some of popular are Jagtap waterfall, Khandi waterfall, Thosegar waterfall etc.

You can also trek legendary and historical forts near pune like Rajgad, Torna fort, Korigad, Raireshwar, Lohgad fort etc you can visit some ancient caves like Bhaja caves, Karla caves, Bedse caves etc

You can explore Lonavala hill station and Maval taluka too where you can trek forts, hills and enjoy the nature to its fullest.

3-Nashik

I love nashik a lot due to beautiful weather there also there are many tourist destinations available to visit in Nashik from start of monsoon till december Nashik is heaven.

You can do watch waterfalls like Kalu waterfall in Godsvalley. Nanemachi waterfall, someshwar waterfall etc You can explore Malshej Ghat, Ramshej ghat etc which are heavenly routes of nashik.

You can also visit devotional place Panchavati where you can feel your soul by meeting indian gods.

Nashik is known for its beautiful forts treks like Harishchandragad, Ratangad egc once you do these treks you never forget the beautiful experiences.

4 – Mumbai

I dont generally like mumbai due to its traffic conditions but in monsoon it becomes heavenly place. You can visit various beaches in Mumbai like Alibaug beach, Kashid beach etc. Also treks like karnala for and Raigad fort will create unforgettableexperiences of your life.

5 – Mahabaleshwar – Satara

Satara is another gemstone of maharashtra where you can visit many beautiful places like Thoseghar waterfall, Mahabaleshwar hill station, Wai, Panchgani hill station, Kaas plateu of Flowers where you can see beautiful flowers in september to october month.

So literally Maharashtra is heavenly place on earth everyone should visit from July till december you will not forget mesmerizing experiences here.
