Journey from Talegaon to Bhandara Hills – Beautiful Experience.

So here we are sharing our experience of Bhandara hill station visit, we means me and my friend Abhijeet started our journey towards Bhandara dongar from Talegaon-Dabhade where we reside, The whole journey is with greenery & trees all around.

Then we took our first stop on Induri bridge an old construction pool over Indrayani river with the green background of hills is great for nature photography as well as portrait photography. First, we decided to go directly to Bhandara hill but the beautiful scenario near Indrayani rived forced us to stop there. At Indrayani river bridge we stayed there for 10-15 minutes, Taken some pictures of nature as well as pics and selfies of ourselves. We also took a short video of the scenario that you can see in our Vlog. You can check Indrayani River – Induri pool photographs below taken with my Realme XT phone. Then again we continues our journey towards our origin i.e. Bhandara. while travelling towards Bhandara dongar we have taken Time lapse videos as well as normal videos of scene’s on the road. When we reached nearby 500 metres of Bhandara dongar we have seen small jungle of big trees at hill bottom. If you wanna experience adventure then you can go through these thick trees. You can also have a lunch in between trees along with nature but be safe there are chances of facing snakes due to thick grass so wear boots & jeans.

we have decided to go directly via bike until the top of the hill, So we entered via entry gate, then the beautiful journey started. Then we took our first stop at first photography point. from where we can see Chakan MIDC as well as the thick jungle of small area & big trees. It is good point of photography as well. from that point we started feeling air waves making us feel nice and cool. Then we gone at second stop intermediate point of hill, From there also the view is amazing and very much satisfying.

Then due to its evening time and time is passing we have to do photography on top of the hill. Even though we don’t wanna leave from that beautiful spot still we left. Then we reached to entrance of Sant Tukaram temple where we taken tea, as you know I love tea so much. While taking tea we met one Mauli means follower of Sant tukaram, a old aged person with great devotion towards god.

Sant Tukaram used to visit different hills for Bhajan (Devotional song with religious theme or spiritual ideas), The family of Tukaram Maharaj was also Unaware of where he went, as he prefers not to tell anyone where he is going. One day Tukaram Maharaj is performing Bhajan with deep devotion and that day The Maratha king Shree. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj came for a visit on the hill. Sant Tukaram was very happy to see him there. Then he asked his followers to serve Shivaji Maharaj with food but Shivaji Maharaj said how can I eat? my 700 soldiers are waiting for me downside they also not ate anything, they are also hungry. I can’t eat keeping them in hunger.

The magic happened then Sant Tukaram Maharaj said to call them all for having food. King Shivaji Raje said how can you feed 700 soldiers? You don’t have enough food inventory. Tukaram Maharaj said just call them here. King Shivaji Maharaj called them all. All sat and empty dishes put in front of them and Tukaram Maharaj asked them to make a wish of food they wanna have. Everyone asked for different dishes and due to power in the devotion of Saint Tukaram, they all got served with food of their wish. So the process of arranging food at devotional Places is generally called Bhandara.

As on that day, Tukaram Maharaj fed Shivaji Maharaj and his 700 soldiers. So you can call it a big sized Bhandara. So from the day when great Maratha King Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had food on the hill its got its name “Bhandara Dongar” (Bhandara Hill).

After the completion of the story, we have visited the temple prayed to god for well being of humans. There we have seen many god statues like Sant Tukaram, Shree Ganesha, Mahadev. One more thing we have observed is there is construction of a new temple is going on and we saw the prototype. It’s just beautiful after completion of that greatly designed and decorated temple the place will get greater importance, Due to the beauty of temple structure and the ornamental design on the walls and Columns are just amazing. So definitely the place will get the attraction of many tourists visiting Pune after completion of temple construction.

After praying we gone to the hilltop of Bhandara dongar/Hill to enjoy the beautiful scenes around, like other green hills, greenery due to trees, everything is looking beautiful from the top. From the top, we saw 2 sides of life one is Chakan MIDC (work Place)where we don’t wanna go, and the other side where we can’t stay always even we wanted to i.e. with beautiful Nature which relieves all the stress, tensions.

So I always prefer traveling to natural green places instead of malls etc. That was an amazing experience. The air is also blowing heavily, the air velocity was at higher side so giving cool feel. The feel is superb we felt like we will stay here only. Never wanna leave the beautiful place. But you know Majboori we had to leave we left from there while going back we have taken a short Timelapse video of surrounding nature. You can watch Bhandara hills experience video at the end of this post.
