As we all know google loves, Title, Meta description and Url in short forms and neglects the url after some characters, so when date comens in permalink it increases length of blog url so less space for our keywords.SO removing date will allow us to use all 75 characters in url it will help in SEO also as google loves short permalinks.

You just need to follow below simple settings to edit default permalink format of your blogger blog.

Go to WordPress blog home >Go to WP Admin located at end of left menu bar >

Now Click on setting > Permalink Settings.

Now Select your preferred permalink settings, as in below options I unticked date and name > choosen Post name option by which date gets removed from permalink of blog post. Now we can see only post title in blog post permalink.

Done! we have successfully removed date from permalinks of all wordpress blog posts.

Example -My blog post url before was https://bloggerguest.com/2020/05/02/cultivate-your-hobbies-in-lockdown/

Now after making above permalink settings on wordpress Admin page now my blog URL changed to below Permalink. https://bloggerguest.com/cultivate-your-hobbies-in-lockdown/
