Hi Publishers and App developers, If you are thing to steal others webview and make an app to earn money by monetizing app, Then be aware of Google Play Webview and Affiliates policy. So read those policies and follow them properly to avoid future losses of time and earnings as your apps Admob will also get disabled. So here i shared my experience and will also tell How to fix google play policy Violation issue – Webview ?
One of my app was rejected even i am owner of that Website, but google not able to check authorization online as its hosted on BlogSpot – free platform so there is no authorization possible through domain verification. So they Suspended my app listing on play store as well as Admob ads disabled.
How to fix google play policy Violation issue – Webview Authorization?
First understand how i gone through the process to fix Webview authorization issue that disabled my app on play store.
First i received below mail stating “Action Required: Your app is not compliant with Google Play Policies” Then i gone through the Webview and Affiliates policy and found that i have not authorized webview for my app right way.
and in same mail I got the option if we made this in mistake please reach policy support team. Then i opted to contact them.
When you click on policy support team link, Then the “Appeal and app suspension” form will open, you need to fill the form properly and attach documents that will verify your rights to the webview in PDF format.
So I made one pdf document attaching screenshot and also pasted my mail address in my webview to Confirm the web property belongs to me.
Then I made a pdf adding above 2 proofs inside it, That will prove the Webview site belongs to me. After a week i got reply from them regarding App as – We’ve accepted your appeal and included details below about what additional steps you’ll need to take to get your app to appear on Google Play.
How to show app on Playstore that was suspended before due to pending webview authorization?
- Step 1 – Sign in to google play console.
- Step 2 – Choose your app that was suspended before.
- Step 3 – Go to Store presence > Store listing.
- Click on submit update or Resubmit app.
Note – If the resubmit option appears black, Then you can make a small modification to your Play store listing to Re-activate the button. For ex. , add a space or a word in your app title and then delete it. when button turns blue, Resubmit or submit your update to an app.
Done! you have successfully applied to list your app again on PlayStore, Then your app will go through review process and will get listed on play store again if follows the rules and Policies.
