Step 2 – Go to Claim website setting.
Click on 3 dots at top right corner > Click edit settings as shown in below image.
The at left side menu column you will find Claim option click on it > Put your website URL in given box and then click on claim website as shown in below image.
Step 3 – Select your Claiming Method.
The one option is downloading given html file and uploading it to root folder of your website, its is little bit difficult and time consuming method. So i am providing here easy method to claim site on pinterest.
Now we will go with 1st option as shown in below image i.e. Copy given html tag as shown in below image.
Till this step all things are same for blogger.com also.
Note: keep pick claim option window open until verification process ends. and open WordPress.com window in another Tab.
STEP 4 – Method 1 – With Plugin Add html tag into <head> section of WordPress website.
Most of WordPress themes doesn’t allow access to HTML editing of theme so below is alternative way to add Pinterest verification code into your html head section.
Login to your WordPress website >Open up tools > Click on Plugins as shown in below image.
In plugins menu click on Add New > In keyword search box at right type Insert header and search > Install and Activate as shown in below image.
Now go to Plugin settings at bottom left corner as shown in below image and open up plugin settings and click on insert headers and footers > Paste Pinterest html tag in header box and Click on save. as shown in below image.
There is alternative option available to add HTML tag without using plugin, so you can use any one between Method1 / Method 2 both will work fine.
STEP 4 – Method 2 – Without Plugin Add html tag into <head> section of WordPress website.
So here is alternative way to add Pinterest html tag into head section, you can use this method if you don’t want to install a plugin.
Go to your WordPress site > Open up tools section >select Marketting > go to traffic section as shown in below image.
Now Scroll down to end of page until you find site verification services section.
Paste Html tag into pinterest block and save settings as shown in below image. Thats all done here on wordpress.
Step 5 – Go to Pinterest Tab > & Click on Next
Then click on Submit option.
That’s done now wait for verification, generally it takes 1-2 hours and max 24 hours.

How to claim website on Pinterest, blogger.com?
Until Copying HTML tag copy the same steps as shown in previous steps (step 1 to step 3).
Step 4 – Go to blogger HTML Editor.
Now Login to blogger.com > Go to Theme section > click on Edit HTML. as shown in below image.
Step 5 – Find <head> Tag ob blogger and paste HTML Tag.
Pres CTRl + F on your desktop > Then search <head> section using search box > Put HTML tag below <head> tag. and click on save Theme. as shown in below picture.
All done , Now go to Pinterest window > click next > Click Submit and wait for verification same steps as we seen in WordPress section after step 4.
