Me & my friend bhakti was looking for outing on weekends, So we received recommendation from Xtreme Trekkers – The trek organizers about Andharban trek They shared some pics of the previous treks. We liked pics and the place. So we have finalized Andharban forest for our weekend Trip.

The distance of Andharban Offroad trek start freom pune is 61KM from Pune via Paud Road & Tamhini Ghat Road, People coming from Mumbai has another route from Lonavala.

Cost of Andharban trek

Here are our spending’s per person for the trek – Trek Guide Fees=600, Travel Fees=400 & Food, Water etc = 250, Ticket=50/- Total = 1300/- rupees per person required for the trek not above that.

Best time to visit Andharban

The Andharban will be beautiful in Mansoon & Winter as well there is no point in going in Summer. Obviously Mansoon will be perfect time for trek as you can enjoy waterfalls, Fogg as well. The people who don’t like rain much can go in Winter also. So Best time will be June to September for Mansoon trekking & October to February to enjoy Misty & Foggy environment of Andharban.

Anhdarban Trekking Experience & trek Guide.

We have started our journey from Pune, It took around 2 hours to Reach Pimpri Village. We parked our car then started trek the start point is 200 meters away from the Pimpri village. There is no special marking for start point but its visible, you can ask any villager for trek path. You need to pay 50 Rupees each as a trek fee.

Then you will Pass through the Heaven, yes you heard right. Andharban is so beautiful so you will feel like come to heaven. We have passed through dense forests. You can see in below photos.

There are many small small waterfalls in the Path ways make the trek more beautiful. It will be amazing Mansoon jungle trek. Also there are small small natural fountains are available to see. We also had a bath in return trek to freshen up in below water fountain.

Along with Flowers the different species of animals & insects you can experience in Andharban trekking below are some pictures of species we spotted in Andharban dense forest. You can see below image of villagers dog, The crab, some insects, green spider i seen first time & butterfly with leaf shaped wings.

Then finally we reached the valley, where we made meditation some time, took some good photographs, Enjoyed the beautiful views of Andharban Valley then finally we had Lunch to gain some energy to do return trek. So checkout pictures of Andharban Valley.
